Listening to nature

The trees are whispering. Can you hear them? Can you listen with your heart, and hear their wisdom? These beautiful beings are as much part of our family as humans and hold the knowledge of all time. So if you’re looking for an answer, try some tree connecting. Meditate with them just as you would with crystals and feel all that they know flowing into your own being. May this day be just beautiful for you ♥

I have had some excellent feedback on my last post “Hiding Behind the Light”. As a result, I have been inspired to bring the meditation “to life” so to speak, so it’s easier for you to experience the energy of the process. I have now made a voice recording which is available to listen to or download at http://soundcloud.com/hummingbird-healing/hiding-behind-the-light. Enjoy!

Hiding Behind the Light

“But you who are strong and swift, see that you do not limp before the lame, deeming it kindness” – Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet

This beautiful truth struck me in the heart the other day as I was reading through an astrology book on Chiron and the Healing Journey. Chiron represents the “wounded healer” who in turn must bring healing to others in order to heal him/herself.

But now we have gone way beyond this aspect of ourselves and the shifting consciousness is calling us to become the full Light we are within. With no excuses.   Gone is the time of the wounded healer and we are now to step fully into the joy of being a complete healing vibration. More

What happens when my Good Enough isn’t Good Enough?

What happens when my Good Enough is not Good Enough? This is a question that often pops up when we are looking to try something new;perhaps to birth a new idea, take a new path, start a new life, or just put our creative products out into the world.

Most importantly it is a fear that halts our progress in just giving of our true selves to the world and manifesting our life purpose, whatever that may be.

Whenever we are offering something of ourselves to others, whether to a group or to an individual, if we stop to judge it before it has formed, we lose the spontaneity in which we can give. Our giving is diluted when we judge our actions and criticise them with the misguided view that others will judge us in this way.

Giving from our True Self will involve our smaller self taking a side seat and allowing us to be honest and clear. Our True Self will not be concerned with how the other(s) choose to interpret our gift, but simply with giving with purity so it can be received in purity,

Remember that your Good Enough will always reach the person who feels it is Good Enough for them.More than Good Enough – Perfect in fact.Your giving is fulfilling an asking which calls you to create.

Imagine if you kept your gift inside yourself, waiting for the “right” time to share it… waiting for it to be “perfect”.It could never be birthed. It would be the same as giving birth to an adult rather than a baby. And how painful would that be!

So, start giving of your creative self.Let your “baby” develop to a stage where you can allow it to take root in the world easily and with care.Allow it to be enjoyed, to grow and be nurtured, to respond to its own needs for adapting and changing and to let the world around guide it to align with what is needed.Let it make “mistakes” and correct its purpose, until it has evolved into a clear, unique and true essence.

Our life’s purpose is found in the small moments:In connection, in harmony, in a state of feeling right with things. It is then we get a sense of “aha” and trust that the first small stages of sharing will lead us to the bigger picture.

Even if you have an overall sense of what you want to create or share in its entirety, allow it to be birthed in small stages. Each of these will guide you to shape the future product so that it fits the world around it and fulfils a timely need.

Questions to ask yourself:

What can I do today to share some of my creative vision?(You can do this in small steps without giving away the end result. The goal here is to give movement and action to your idea.)

What beliefs/attitudes are holding me back from sharing?

Are these beliefs true?(Really)Or are they concepts I have learned from others?

What colour can I now breathe into me to inspire and awaken my creativity?(You can then vision that colour flowing through you, taking your inspiration out into the world.)

Embracing, not facing

Embracing, not just facing, your problems/challenges/enemies/annoyances is what will change their form into something you can deal with. Just looking at them, thinking or talking about them will still keep you in separation. If you embrace them from your heart, they will be neutralised by the inherent Love. You can then get clarity on how to move through them.

Try this meditation:

How do we embrace, rather than just face? Here is a meditation which will help you to make a start in a direction which will help:

Sitting still in a calm place, centre yourself and your thoughts into your heart. Feel a spiral of bright white light moving from the core of your heart up and through you. Let the spiral of light work to clear any persistent thoughts which may prevent you from being completely attuned to the moment.

Again from your heart see a circle of light with you in the centre. See another circle of light opposite containing the situation/person/problem which is charged with negativity such as anger, frustration, fear, revenge, attack, rage, resentment or any other energy which is really troubling you.

Use a stream of blue, white and gold light flowing from your heart directly to the circle opposite you and let this light penetrate to the core of the situation. Feel the fear (in whatever that form it takes) de-energising and neutralising the circle, leaving it free to be just a situation. See a symbol within this circle and allow it to enter your personal circle in a bubble of pink. Merge with this symbol and let yourself embrace the situation. This releases you from fear of the whole thing and allows you to feel what is going on underneath.

The key now is to release the other circle which contained the old energy. Just feel that you have embraced and understood the circumstance. Let the symbol “speak” to your heart and feel a deep, expansive knowing of the learning from this. Let it flow into your heart and bring awareness of a way to overcome all the polarity which has surrounded this. Finally release the person or situation from your mental body by picturing it in a circle/spiral/bubble of light and allowing it to disintegrate from your thought patterns.

Be prepared to approach the new energy with openness and awareness so that you can react with a Light response rather than guard with fear. If you stay in fear, that will keep attracting the negativity. It’s tricky, subtle and takes a bit of practise, but if we are open it can teach us a lot.

Staying Open

Let’s not be safe any more. Let’s take some emotional risks; reach in first to our lovingness, then reach out with a new view on old ways of relating. Let’s refuse to play the old games, and tell those patterns to grow lighter and grow up. Let’s really connect by just being ourselves, rather than someone-we-are-expected-to-be. Take a risk; be open and vulnerable, but wrapped in Love, and see what happens.
