Embracing, not facing

Embracing, not just facing, your problems/challenges/enemies/annoyances is what will change their form into something you can deal with. Just looking at them, thinking or talking about them will still keep you in separation. If you embrace them from your heart, they will be neutralised by the inherent Love. You can then get clarity on how to move through them.

Try this meditation:

How do we embrace, rather than just face? Here is a meditation which will help you to make a start in a direction which will help:

Sitting still in a calm place, centre yourself and your thoughts into your heart. Feel a spiral of bright white light moving from the core of your heart up and through you. Let the spiral of light work to clear any persistent thoughts which may prevent you from being completely attuned to the moment.

Again from your heart see a circle of light with you in the centre. See another circle of light opposite containing the situation/person/problem which is charged with negativity such as anger, frustration, fear, revenge, attack, rage, resentment or any other energy which is really troubling you.

Use a stream of blue, white and gold light flowing from your heart directly to the circle opposite you and let this light penetrate to the core of the situation. Feel the fear (in whatever that form it takes) de-energising and neutralising the circle, leaving it free to be just a situation. See a symbol within this circle and allow it to enter your personal circle in a bubble of pink. Merge with this symbol and let yourself embrace the situation. This releases you from fear of the whole thing and allows you to feel what is going on underneath.

The key now is to release the other circle which contained the old energy. Just feel that you have embraced and understood the circumstance. Let the symbol “speak” to your heart and feel a deep, expansive knowing of the learning from this. Let it flow into your heart and bring awareness of a way to overcome all the polarity which has surrounded this. Finally release the person or situation from your mental body by picturing it in a circle/spiral/bubble of light and allowing it to disintegrate from your thought patterns.

Be prepared to approach the new energy with openness and awareness so that you can react with a Light response rather than guard with fear. If you stay in fear, that will keep attracting the negativity. It’s tricky, subtle and takes a bit of practise, but if we are open it can teach us a lot.

Staying Open

Let’s not be safe any more. Let’s take some emotional risks; reach in first to our lovingness, then reach out with a new view on old ways of relating. Let’s refuse to play the old games, and tell those patterns to grow lighter and grow up. Let’s really connect by just being ourselves, rather than someone-we-are-expected-to-be. Take a risk; be open and vulnerable, but wrapped in Love, and see what happens.

Truth vs Mind

Do you follow your truth, or just pay it lip service? How many times has your Intuition said you “I told you so”? Maybe one day we’ll all learn to trust our first complete knowings which are higher awareness speaking first before our mind control catches up. Perhaps, from endless experience, we’ll learn to give our heads a rest and let our wholeness guide us.

Here’s a good exercise to understand your own truth:

Try this Meditation

Sit still and breathe into your heart, focusing on light and colour in your heart centre. Continue with this breath until you feel centred and aligned. Now think of a situation that on your mind…. there’s always something that seems to niggle at you more than others.  Often this will be something you were having difficulty letting go of when you were centring.

Imagine a symbol for this situation in front of you.  Connect to it from your heart with a stream of green and blue light.   Let this healing light fill up the symbol.  Now ask how your wholeness or higher self views this situation.  Allow a higher understanding of  this situation to settle into your heart. Let it envelope your senses and you will have an immediate awareness of what the truth is.

This may differ from what you want!! Or it may differ from what you “think” you should do. But as we all know, if we go against our truth, we’ll have to revisit the situation anyway. Maybe it’s less stressful to follow our truth in the first place:-)

If you try out this meditation, I would love to hear back from you.

Welcome to my first blog post

Hello everyone!  Well, this is quite exciting.  My first blog post and I would like to  thank you all for being present to share it with me :-)  I plan to write on a range of topics relating to personal growth, spiritual awareness, life path direction, holographic reality, circular thinking and the bigger picture in general.

Lately I have been aware of a great upsurge in the balance between “dark” and “light”…. or “fear” and “love”.  The boundaries of these polarities are being pulled apart and we need to define what is light/love to us and let it transform the darkness/fear that seem to be spinning around us at a greater intensity.  Sometimes it’s more intense because it needs attention – it’s calling us to connect with it and understand its origins so that we may integrate the teaching contained within.

It’s only fear that separates us from our past unresolved issues, but as Nelson Mandela aptly quoted, fear cannot remove fear…. only love can.  The unfolding increase of Light upon our planet now supports us to lovingly embrace the things we have “kept in the dark” with a Light, understanding and confidence that will neutralise their heaviness and release the obstacles they present.

I was reminded of a poem which I wrote some time ago whilst reflecting on the balance between “dark” and “light”.  I’m sharing it here with the hope that it touches you all in the right place to help you complete those “things in the dark” that have held you back.

“As Dark is Light”

I drift into eternity –

That void which draws me and at the same instant

I recoil from its clutches, afraid that if I surrender to its

invitation I may never return.

Return where?  I ask – Is it not from the void that I came

to this life?

I edge closer, feeling its enticement.

“Come to me” it says.

“I am you.

“I am all time.

“If you meld with me, the answers will be yours

as they are now, although you choose not to believe you

can claim them to be your own wisdom.

“Let me show you love, open to me as simply and serenely

as a flower opens its petals to the warmth of the sun.

“Come close – let me show you trust.  Allow your heart

to flow into mine gently and safely, tenderly holding it close to my breast.

“When your heart is safe, all else shall follow.  For Reason shall not stand in

Love’s footsteps.  And what else is there but Love?

Fear shall not contain you from bursting through your reality

to extend yourself – expand the Light that glows within

To reach the edges of Love’s desire

To tarry no longer at the crossroad

but finally collapse into the infinite design.

And let Love lead you to blend with your soul.

Come to me now my child.”

And so I came to the precipice, the daunting edge of all that I hold as truth.

I touched the darkness, my senses wary,

But then I felt its wisdom, and allowed my body to explore the contours of

a limitless strength.

I dived into the sea of black, my arms spread wide,

Allowing it to penetrate my very essence.

And there I found the light.

In the depth of that dark and foreboding void.

But how can there be light unless there is dark?

And how can there be one unless there is all?

I flow now

And let the answers float into the layers of my soul.

I touch the darkness,

Caressing its mask.

Knowing now that it carries within it

the seed of the Light.
